"Best find in SoCal"

I hesitate to even review this jewel of a find. I LOVE this place. It has the best fish ever, anywhere. I don't even want to order swordfish anywhere else because I already know it will never be as good as Cafe Zoolu. The proprieters are a cute couple that must live above the restaurant, and it has a real beachy vibe. I haven't tried much except their fish, but really when someone has mastered something why would you? My recommendation: Make a reservation or you won't get in. Sit at the bar and watch the action

Don't pay attention to the decoration...this is not a fancy place BUT the food is amazingly delicious. Very nice portion served and the quality of the products is outstanding. You have to book in advance. The restaurant is small and it is an hidden gem off the main street of Laguna Beach. Will go again....no doubt! Visited April 2011
